The SEC: -has won the last two national championships -has won 4 of the 10 national championships (not including Auburn's undefeated season in 2004) -has the most BCS bowl wins (11) -and has the best BCS win percentage (.733) of any conference with more than one appearance I'll admit there's an SEC bias. But there's a reason for that: a lot of the teams are stacked! Good coaching and an emphasis of high school football in the south are two of the biggest reasons. The Big 10 used to be good riding on the wings of OSU and Michigan, but now they're both average. The Pac 10 is pretty much USC and the 9 stooges. Big 12 is legit, but very topheavy. Big East? hahaha. And I'll see the ACC during basketball season. I'm tired of everyone dogging the SEC. It's the most solid conference for a reason.... read more
